Dolphins Coach Search Updated

IS THE AARDVARK OUR NEW HEAD COACH? OR DID CAM BLOW 'EM AWAY TONIGHT? (Updated)

According to an unnamed source by the Sun-Sentinel, it looks like Chan Gailey is the frontrunner to be the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins.

In other news, Cam Cameron flew in for his second interview tonight.

The Sun-Sentinel is saying that it's now between Gailey and Cameron.

So it comes down to this:

-Either the source is right and the Aardvark, who has averaged only 7 wins in 5 seasons the past 5 years in college, will be the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins.

OR

-Cam blew away the Two Monkeys and a yo-yo during his second interview tonight and he made them realize that he's the best man for the job.

OR
-
The source is wrong about Gailey, Cam didn't impress and it could still be anybody's job.

Either way, according to a Georgia Tech recruit, we should know by Thursday who the new coach will be.

So it looks like this is, in fact, now between the Aardvark and Cam Cameron.
How much you wanna bet the Two Monkeys and a yo-yo fuck this one up royally and are handing the keys to the franchise to Chan Gailey?
I have no faith in this organization's leadership whatsoever. Can you blame me?

Stay tuned here ...

One source said Cameron could land the job with a strong interview, while another source said Gailey is the frontrunner for the position.

Looks like it could go either way.

Oh who am I kidding?

These dumbfucks are gonna pick Gailey and we all know it.

You're right BP. The Sun-Sentinel literally changed the story and their head line while I was posting this the first time. Their first report made it sound like Chan was the man and that Cam's interview was just a formality.

The news is certainly better the second time around. So Cam still has a shot. But I have very little faith these morons know what they're doing.

Here's to hoping the right decision is made ...

Oh sweet mother of pearl let it please be Cam!!!

I noticed that, Dude. Which is why I was thrown by the tone of your post after reading the story.

Luckily I saw the original posted elsewhere.

This is the BIG part they cut:

"But unless Cameron - who has guided one of the league's most prolific offenses over the past five seasons but was only 18-37 as head coach of Indiana - blows away the Dolphins hierarchy, it appears that Gailey, 55, has surpassed fellow candidates' Jim Mora, Dom Capers and Mike Shula to become the franchise's seventh head coach."

Completely different tone of article with that in there.

Very odd. Basically nobody knows anything.

You're not alone in having lost any type of faith for the team's owners. Having Gailey around will keep us away from making the playoffs for five more years!

Did Mora just drop off the face of the earth or something? On Tuesday, I was hearing that he was the frontrunner, and now it's between Gailey and Cameron.

Not only that, but there's a story now on the Sun-Sentinel website that Ron Turner's still a candidate?

This just keep getting stranger by the second.
