the Miami Sports Dude

Sorry about the lack of posts, dear readers. The Dude is sad to report that he lost his grandma two nights ago. Dying of natural causes, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 96. She was a wonderful lady who always defended me when my parents thought I was a little too crazy about the sports. And she always made sure the Dude was well fed before he scurried off to play football, or basketball, or baseball or what have you. Anyway ... that's why I haven't been around. So if ya got the time, crack open a cold one and toast the old broad one time for The Dude. After all, if there was no Gammy there'd be no Dude. She was a special lady.
