WE DID IT!!!! THE HEAT ARE CHAMPIONS!!!

YYYYYAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYRRRRRRGHK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Ryan Being Manny. It feels awesome! Your words are much appreciated.

And ... GO SOX!!

Thanks rojo. I know you've been waiting for this day to come for a long time. Enjoy it. You, along with all the other real Heat fans, deserve it!

I'll have thoughts on everything later. My mind is mush. I'm on 3 hours sleep.

MIAMI HEAT 2006 CHAMPIONS.

Oh man! Amazing! Simply awesome! I can't find the words to express the utter joy and excitement I'm feeling right now! I was at the AAA last night -- there was about 7000 of us there -- and we just went ape-shit when the Heat won! The party spilled out into the streets! Oh man!

What can you say about this team? What an effort and what an amazing comeback! Down 0-2, against all odds and Wade just lifted us on his shoulders and took us to the title.

Seeing Alonzo celebrating brought tears to my eyes! 18 years of heart ache is suddenly gone! All them damn Knicks losses are all a distant memory!

Can't wait for that parade!!!

My Heat are world champions! Life is good! LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

This is for all the doubters, the whiners, the haters: go blow yourselves!!!

MIAMI HEAT 2006 NBA CHAMPIONS

IN YER MOTHER F$#@ FACE B%$#!!!!

Love the pics Dude! Especially the one with Shaq handing D-Wade the MVP trophy and the one with Zo drinking champagne. Priceless images.

This is such an amazing time in our city's sports history. I think it's bigger than the Marlins championships because the city has had more invested emotionally, in the Heat. Like Cliff said, those heart breaking losses to the Knicks in the 90's are nothing but a memory now.

Pat Riley is truly a giant in the sport and I think we need to recognize and appreciate that. As is Shaq.

And then there's Dwyane Wade. The NBA has looked so hard for a Jordan replacement. They tried force feeding us LeBron. But it was Wade all along.

And he's only 24. Who knows where else this kid is going to take us.

Today is a great day, Miami. Let's soak it all in.

Miami Heat World Champs. Beautiful.

I am speechless. I haven't even been able to make a post on my blog all day. Just posted a picture since it speaks a thousand words. Man I am draggin ass at work today but its so worth it!

I love the Heat.

I cannot express how proud I am of this team and how proud I am being a Miami Heat fan.

Since Riles promised us that parade way back in 95, we've been waiting, waiting, waiting. And now it's finally come and how sweet it is. It feels amazing! It is, as ryan said above, the best feeling in the world.

I admit I was one of the doubters at the beginning of the year. I bashed Riley's moves. I bashed 'Toine. I bashed GP. I even bashed Shaq. But I am so glad I was wrong. This is something I am going to treasure for the rest of my life.

Thank you, Miami Heat! Thank you for not giving up or letting our doubt cloud your faith! Thank you for playing like a team and coming through with the greatest moment in franchise history!

Miami Heat World Champs!!! Yes!!!

It's been a long, hard road for us Heat fans who've been around since the days of Pat Cummings, Rory Sparrow and 0-17. The victory is sweet. My only regret is that Eddie Jones and Steve Smith, two guys who exude class and who are embedded in the DNA of the franchise, could not be a part of the celebration in Dallas.

Great job with the blog, dude. Now maybe we can all notice that the Marlins (remember them?) are on a historic tear.

p.s. Check out Dan Patrick's bald spot in the third picture. Who knew?

Holy shit -- Alan Ogg just posted here!!??

We can NEVER forget Rory Sparrow. I think the Dude wrote someting on him on this blog a whiles back, no?

And spotting Dan Patrick's bald spot makes you an Official MSD REAL Commentator. That and the fact that you may be the real Alan Ogg.

Dude, I am on a real high today. I was so wired after we won last night I couldn't sleep. After running thru So Beach I got home and saw ESPN replaying the game, so I watched it until 6

This day will live with me for the rest of my life. Finally, we can say our Miami Heat are the NBA's Champions!!!

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING!

Thanks to Alan Ogg for bringing up Eddie. I really wish the Heat had kept him around...it would've been nice to see him get a ring as well.
